Well, so much for my hopes of keeping up with my blog! I hate to admit it but it is much more difficult than it seems to think of things to write a couple of times a week, once a week or even monthly. My goal to blog was to inform and share crafting tips, tricks and general information. But, the crafting itself and Etsy are time suckers and honestly, it is so much more fun. I am not even sure if my absence has been noticed by anyone because I don’t know if anyone reads this blog?! (Insert heavy sigh)
But there is good news…. I have caught up on my Etsy store after being wiped out at Christmas (of course sales are fabulous, but replenishing is a job and a half). I have over 50 products in my store, including some things I was just playing around with and thought I’d throw in to see how well they sell. Second piece of good news…I will be teaching some classes for mini scrapbooks at the Blaine Hobby Lobby. So cool that unlike Michael’s and Joann’s, Hobby Lobby lets you teach whatever you want as long as you use their products (a no brainer for this chick…never discriminate against a good craft store) Hobby Lobby also takes 0% of your profit and charges nothing to use their classroom!! And the last huge score for teaching at HL is they set up a table in the store for you to promote your class(es)! This will take place in May and I will be posting it on my Facebook and here as it gets closer. Last piece of exciting news….I am going to Vegas for PITAFEST next year! It’s an event all about scrapbooking, crafty people, laughing, creating and Kathy King from Paper Phenomenon. But the real news is that the gal in charge, Annette, saw my polymer clay coffee cups and donuts (on sale in my shop now too) and asked me to make 300 of them for the gift bags for the event !! YIPPEE!! What an honor!!
In other news…. I have completed 4 custom mini albums in the past 6 months and they were received very well. I haven’t said much about this option, but I want you to know that I am becoming much more comfortable offering this option to people. I love the designing and sharing an easy, quick way to help people preserve their memories and photos. If this is something you might be interested in, please let me know and we can brainstorm!
Lastly, spending time with this sweetie pie is more fun than blogging….sorry all you grandchild-less folks out there….when you get your hands on one of these precious ones you will never want to let them go. A true gift from God.
