So, I guess my hopes of writing at least 2-3 blog posts a week did not become a reality…. such is life. I went to a fabulous scrapbooking retreat called Cattails last weekend and was very productive. I ended up completing 4 mini scrapbooks, socializing, EATING and making new friends as well as reconnecting with old. If you have never gone a crafting retreat…put it on your bucket list! It is a wonderful way to create uninterrupted, make new friends and become very inspired by others projects.
Then this past week, I helped a friend who I have recently reconnected with, get ready for Quilt Market in Houston. I helped stuff patterns, send out packages and be supportive in any way I could to Stacy, the owner and creator of Buttermilk Basin. It was fun to check out Stacy’s new stuff for Market, hang out, laugh and get to know her right hand gal Kelly. There is something about being around creative people who just “get it”. You tend to connect because you share the joy, language and sometimes frustration of creating. The only thing that would of made it better was getting on the plane with them to head to Texas!
Although it seems early, now we move into Christmas mode. Minnesota has had a fabulous Fall and I understand that Halloween has not yet arrived, but I MUST get a move on with the holiday projects. So little time and oh so many ideas, projects and sharing to be done. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you keep checking in, following me on Instagram and checking out my Easy shop.
